Description

The excavations at Ashqelon Barne‘a produced a large amount of pottery associated with the three main EB I occupation strata identified at the site, spanning the late EB IA/EB IA–IB transition (Stratum IV) to the end of EB IB (Strata III–II; Golani 2019b:37–38).¹ However, the ceramics were poorly preserved and dominated by fragments; only a few vessels were complete or restorable.
